Goa, will get a stable government?

Pramod Sawant

The sudden and sad demise of Sri Manohar Parrikar, the late chief minister of Goa on Sunday, 17th March 2019, did upset many in the political circle and also amongst his well-wishers. The man who was the reason to form a government in the state of Goa way back in 2017, despite BJP falling short of the majority. That charisma which fought many battles successfully and comes triumph finally lost the batter to the long-ailing Cancer that bothered him.

In fact, not even a day passed morning his death, the political opportunities started their slug fight to form a new government in the state of Goa. A Little background, of the Goa state. It has a total of 36 MLA seats, to form a government. Any political party to form a government, will need at least 19 seats and unfortunately, in 2017, no political party could get a Majority.

Which lead to the formation of a new Coalition government. In fact, the minority parties agreed to support BJP only on the Condition that Mr. Parrikar is the CM of Goa. As agreed, the new government was formed with Mr. Manohar Parrikar as its chief.

But on Sunday this equation was broken and the political parties left no time to negotiate and form a new stable company.

At this point in time, the parties agreed to elect Mr. Pramod Sawant as its next Chief Minister and alliance partners agreed to support the BJP decided candidate and the swearing in Ceremony was conducted at 1:48 AM on 19th March 2019.

Thus, we at vedicastrosevice.com decided to check if the political government that was formed on the above-mentioned date would remain stable or no. Once again, we would like to maintain our disclaimer, that we do not oppose or support any political party or individual through this analysis. The following is the Chart and the Panchang details at the time of Swearing in ceremony.

The above is the Muhurat Chart or the swearing-in chart of the new Chief Minister Sri Pramod Sawant.

Right since the inception of the Chart, it is clear that the swearing-in ceremony of the new Chief Minister is absolutely flawed. Since, this is the time where rising ascendant of the chart was Sagittarius, with Moon in the 9th house, though degreecally still in the Cusp of 8th, which means, Moon is still in the 8th house from its ascendant. This again indicates that the coalition that was formed had seen many compromises by all the political parties, more particularly BJP (as they are in the Majority to form an alliance government).

Let us analyze this even further. The ascendant Sagittarius is a dual sign and by nature it indicates instability. On top of it, a the time of wearing in, three Malefic planets, Saturn , Rahu, and Ketu were weakening he ascendant which leads to many disadvantages. In fact, these three planets in itself so powerful that they can bring down the coalition government within no time. What is worrying is that on 7th May till the end of June 2019, Mars would also join Rahu, Ketu, and Saturn to create more havoc. Therefore, the timing is not going to be suitable for anyone in the coalition government that has been formed. There shall be many demands and expectations which would not be easily met, leading to a threat of fall of the government.

We also checked the Mahadasha and Antradasha at the time of swearing in.  At the time of swearing in the Mahadasha happened to be Ketu with Antradasha as Venus till June 2019 and then Sun till October 2019 and finally, it would be Moon from there on till May 2020. From this list of Antara Dasha, none of them are supporting the ruling coalition government any form of stability. We strongly suspect the upcoming transit of Mars can trigger the separation if not, by May 2020 the present ruling coalition may not hold grounds until substantially the partners are made happy.

We wish the government in Goa state all the very best, to iron out any differences.
